While our seven day NATCHEZ TRACE BIKE TOUR focuses on the scenery, area attractions and a push toward one century, the 5 day challenge averages 95 miles per day with several days going over a century. There are many historic markers along the trace to use as an excuse to stop for a break. Take a moment and read some of the interesting history. Make sure to catch photos of the Wichahpi Wall, a memorial for those Native American who walked the Trail of Tears. When you arrive in French Camp, tour the historic grounds and watch the students harvest the sorghum. Take a stroll on a few sections of the original Trace and picture bison migrating, Civil War soldiers and Ohio frarmers using the Trtace as their path and boatmen walking home.
