230-280 approx miles of spectacular views, challenging climbs and a bounty of good times!

This tour was developed by our owner and guide, Elli Sias, and is not designed for the faint of heart.  She has pedaled these hills and visited these charming towns over the last 25 years, while living in the South.

We will do airport pickups at the Asheville, NC Airport and shuttle riders and their bikes to our starting hotel in Asheville.  The beauty of this 5 day tour is that we reside in one hotel for the duration of this tour. The luxury, comfort and convenience of an atristic and cultural small city. Our travels take us through the beautiful, small towns of Brevard, Mars Hill, Weaverville, Cilo, Marshall, Mount Mitchell and Asheville.

This tour is the perfect tour for a non-cycling spouse or travel companion. Asheville is home to the Vanderbilts (the early residents of the historic Biltmore Estate), some of the South’s finest microbreweries, regional artists who studied at the Penland School, and incredible restaurants and wonderful local cycling routes. Western North Carolina boasts upscale mountain towns, as well as some truly rustic Appalachian home sites and farmland. While riders are out cycling, there is a bounty of options for your travel companion.

The Blue Ridge Parkway and the NC mountains ain’t flat, folks. At times, you may think that you are on a human powered rollercoaster. Our climbs will be short and steep and descents will go by quickly. The Cycle of Life Adventures van will always be there to assist.
